As a mother and a teacher with over 25 years of experience, I’ve lived through the same question that so many parents quietly ask themselves every single day: “How do I keep my kid/s happy, engaged while learning, and off screens… without draining myself in the process?”

I remember those afternoons and long summer days vividly. The ones where I’d just finished a full day, teaching, cleaning, managing life, and all I wanted was to sit down for five minutes without hearing, "I'm bored!"  I also didn’t want to give in to using screens as a babysitter; I wanted better.

I wanted more than just passive entertainment.
I wanted joyful learning, the kind that makes kids’ eyes light up with curiosity.
I wanted quiet moments of play where I could sip a tea in peace while my child independently built, solved, created, and explored.
I wanted meaningful bonding, those rare, magical moments when you’re sitting beside your child, working through a puzzle or game together, laughing, learning, connecting.

The truth is, so many of the educational tools I found were either too complicated, too boring, too screen-heavy, or required more work from me than from my child.

So, I built what I couldn’t find.
I created GLES Kids.

GLES Kids was born from the product of my two worlds: the heart of a mother who just wanted a little help, and the mind of a teacher who knows what kids need to thrive.
